Optical Fiber Cables_01
Design
A single optical fiber coated with a buffer layer of reinforced aramid yarn is covered by an extruded outer jacket in diameter sizes between
1.6mm - 3.0mm. The design of tight buffer is to apply thermoplastic directly to the fiber coating and its diameter sizes are available up to 900um. Using longitudinal aramid yarn as strength member, the tight buffer optical fiber cables extrude colored outer jacket over the aramid yarn. Other designs are also available upon customers¡¯ requests to meet each specified requirements and conditions.

Application
Simplex is a flexible, flame-retardant, non-metalic cable recommended for use in telecommunication station between the optical line system and the fiber frame distribution (OFD). It is also suitable for data networks (LAN).
